In Doncaster. An authentic Thai Massage.

What are your touring essentials?
Blender, oil diffuser, sliders, photos of son, skipping rope, hand cream, ginger, lime and mints

What’s your go-to recipe whilst on tour?
Ginger, lemon, cayene pepper, tumeric, apple juice and honey

Touring is important because you're able to take plays and stories to other cities. Share stories about different people cultures and perspectives. It brings the world closer together. Especially considering how the media goes out its way to divide us.

Which artist(s) do you most admire and why?
My peers. As I’ve been working with them over the last decade and have seen their and growths within the industry and it’s inspiring. Most are now award winning and creators of their own shows.

What music inspires you?
Gospel

What image or video inspires you?
Image of me holding my son for the first time. As it remains me of the person I was before he was here and the man I have become (who i am very proud of) for him to look up to.

What piece of writing or quote inspires you?
Matthew 17:20 – “For I assure you: If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

What, for you, makes a good piece of art?
Great writing, that takes you on a journey. With 3 dimensional characters.

What have been your career highlights so far?
Working on Two Trains Running and being told i played a convincing American

Hamlet – love a play within a play
Ruined is a play by Lynn Nottage -powerful play
Jesus Hopped The ‘A’ Train by Stephen Adly Guirgis – very daring and multi cultural Misty by Arinze Kene – relatable
Familiar by Danai Gurira- reflected my family

Please can you tell us what you would say to emerging artists to encourage them to take their work on the road or join an ETT tour?
