Where is your home away from home?
Cardiff – I was born there, still have family there and have worked there a few times in recent years. I feel comforted and at ‘home’ in Cardiff.
Which city was your favourite to visit on tour with ETT?
Shanghai – it was like nowhere I’d ever experienced before, hectic and fast-paced but so interesting. Incredible food too.
What gem did you discover on tour with ETT?
Lots of us in the Othello company got matching Feiyue trainers – as recommended by Richard – from a woman selling them for about £3 in the Former French Concession area. Total bargain!
What are your touring essentials?
I would always aim to pack light, but inevitably that doesn’t happen. It is guaranteed I will take way too much stuff with me so my ‘essential’ would be to shed clothing items.

In an ideal world, I want to be out and about trying food from wherever I am visiting. I love cooking at home but when I'm touring I definitely want to be tasting food from new and exciting places.

Something that resonates or connects with people.
What have been your career highlights so far?
Ross & Rachel which we did in Edinburgh and then toured, Othello with ETT, Nora: A Doll’s House at the Citz in Glasgow.

Train.

Invisibility – so. much. fun.
