The Caretaker, Harold Pinter – I first understood how much a play could emote before any word was spoken with Pinter.

The Threepenny Opera, Brecht – The beginning of my understanding of devised theatre was through this play.

A Taste of Honey, Shelagh Delaney – This play is such a perfectly written natural expression of real life. At 18 years of age, Shelagh created a masterpiece.

I think our work is all about taking chances and seizing opportunities. The opportunity offered to any artist to join ETT would be an adventure that could take them halfway across the world.
