Touring is important because…
it cross-pollinates ideas, people, culture and stories.
Which artist(s) do you most admire and why?
There are so many to choose from, across so many mediums. But I am always in wonder at the work of Buster Keaton.
What have been your career highlights so far?
RSC Histories and all the international projects I was able to do whilst at the Royal Court. On the surface they couldn’t be more different but there’s a thread of storytelling, deep investigation into an essential humanity and a healthy dose of politics that runs through both of them.
