FAQs

How do I book tickets?

All of our tickets are sold via the host venue’s box office. Please visit the Productions page for more info about show booking.

How can I book a room?

We have a number of different studio spaces available for hire. Please visit our Studio Hire page for more information and to book.

How do you cast?

ETT does not have a casting department and each production is cast using a freelance casting director. If you would like to be considered in an acting role on one of our productions please email admin@ett.org.uk giving details of the production you wish to be considered for, and we will pass on your details to the appropriate contact.

Do you accept unsolicited scripts?

We are a small team, and unfortunately do not have the capacity to read and reply to unsolicited submissions. We do recommend you send your script to theatres and companies that do accept unsolicited submissions, for instance (among others) the Royal Court, Paines Plough, Hampstead Theatre, Finborough Theatre, Theatre503, or the Bush Theatre.

How do you decide where to tour?

All of our productions are co-produced by local partners & we strive to give our work the widest reach possible. Have a look at the Where We Tour page to see where our work has been performed already.

Why does ETT need support? / How can I support ETT?

ETT is run by a small team of dedicated and passionate people, but it is sustained by its audiences and supporters. As a registered charity we rely on the generosity of individuals to ensure we can continue producing the best tours nationwide. Full details about how you can support ETT can be found in the Support Us section of the website.

Can I do a Work Placement at ETT?

ETT does not offer unpaid work placements at the company. We advertise all of our paid career opportunities on our website. Further information can be found on our Get Involved page. To stay up to date on vacancies at ETT please sign up to our newsletter.

Do you provide guidance or warnings around the themes and content of a production?

We do provide age and content guidance for all of our shows. We’re aware that some moments can cause distress or concern for some individuals. If there are particular themes that may cause you distress, or allergies which could cause you discomfort, please contact the host venue’s Box Office team.

Can I buy a programme for a past production?

Where possible, we store digital versions of past programmes right here on our website – you can download them from resources. Where there is no digital version available, you can email admin@ett.org.uk and we will check our archives, and if we have a physical programme we will post it to you.

Where is ETT?

Our offices are based at 25 Short Street in Waterloo and our productions can be found across the world!
