How did you bring home with you on tour?
By talking to the local theatre goers about their home and sharing stories about my home.

What are your touring essentials?  
Dissolvable Vitamin C, my laptop and a good book 

What’s your go-to recipe whilst on tour?
Pasta

Which artist(s) do you most admire and why?
Ava Duverney an American Director – she uses her art to find and tell the truth. 

What music inspires you?
It always changes I love all music. But, when I want to power through a long list of things to do or if I have a super hard day – I listen to Beyonce! 

What image or video inspires you?
This image is taken from pina the movie. 

What piece of writing or quote inspires you?
Sometimes, I feel discriminated against, but it does not make me angry. It merely astonishes me. How can any deny themselves the pleasure of my company? It’s beyond me.

What, for you, makes a good piece of art?
One that highlights the complexities of humanity and strives to be culturally specific by having a culturally specific creative and production team. 

What have been your career highlights so far?
Working on Shebeen – directed by Matthew Xia, choreographing Bernstien’s MASS Opera at the Royal Festival Hall, Misty and being able to return to Uganda and teach/mentor aspiring choreographer, writer and directors. 

If you were cast away on a desert island, which 5 plays would you take with you and why?
A Raisin in the Sun, Hamilton, Taming of the Shew, A Bitter Herb, Things Fall Apart 

Please can you tell us what you would say to emerging artists to encourage them to take their work on the road or join an ETT tour?
It is a great experience esp if you are London based.
